ADDIS ABABA Garissa County Governor H.E Ali Bunow Korane is in Addis Ababa to witness the momentous welcoming ceremony of Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) leadership to Ethiopia--after 24 years, Governer Press reported.
The ONLF, who are returning to Jigjiga after the Ethiopian Peace Process finally bore fruits after 6 years of negotiations, augurs well for peace at the troubled Horn of Africa, the Governor has said.
"The historic return of the ONLF leadership to Jigjiga is a culmination of the 6 year peace process that has laid the foundation for a more peaceful, united and stable Horn of Africa" said Korane who has played a key role in the peace process.
He is accompanied by Senator Hon Yussuf Haji, Hon. Yussuf Hassan and Amb. Mohamed Affey fruits.
