THE WEEK THAT WAS: Mwingi Political Pundit Kyale Dissects Kalonzo Yatta Rendezvous This Week

BY PATRICK KIMANZI, Editor

TRANSCRIPTION : BY KYALE

The annual muvisi matuu home goat eating came late, No it was not late, it was urgently planned for Kitui, masaku and Makueni politics modus operandi....read on....

But why was the meeting called, the political message, the effects....
But to understand these, we need to analyse the key meeting players perse....

*(1)Hon Kalonzo wa Musyoka aka Muvisi*

The cunning, suave and cool fatal Tseikuru son called this meeting to *speak* to the three renegade Kamba Governors, Mutua, Kivutha and Ngilu.... That, am unhappy with you, and have come for you, mundu ku mundu, luyha dialect literally speaking. Mutua and kivutha are safe, they are on their last term in office, Governor Ngilu is in precarious political situation, she is endangered...muvisi is/was visibly hangry, he might revenge, Governor Ngilu be ready....

 *(2)Hon Muthama, former senator, Machakos*

Muthama came to pass two messages... One from, muvisi that he will finish Governor Ngilu for betrayal and tell Kamba Nation, the house of Mumbi has chosen muvisi. He shared a car ride with murathi, to sent the message home.... He did it perfectly well, he scored big time...

 *(3)Hon Mulyungi aka *Tsunami,aka Kisithe*

Kisithe was brief, calculated,.... He carried muvisi message.... Governor Ngilu change, if u don't, we(i) ready for your seat. Make no mistake, Hon Master is Muvisi rouble rouser and political water tester, ignore his sentiments at your own shauri...

 *(4)Hon Senator Kiio*
The Kitui senator was candid, though unaudible but composed, the 2022 wiper party governor seat heir apparent mhesh was daring, tough and raring to go... Against muvisi detractors,..... The kyondoni born Kitui senator might be carrying muvisi secret dossiers.... Ignore him at your loss... Be warned..

*(5)Hon Nimrod aka Hon mbaya mbaya*

It took me some time to listen and repeat the audios of this matia born, Machakos PR trained and hardened, and a astute former Hon late Nyenze student to get his political message. In the matuu meeting, he stole the show. His presence was suprise even to wiper fraternity. Muvisi made some favorable statements about him. Note somewhere.... If he won't vie for governor seat 2022,he will be in Muvisi, wiper brigade, make no mistake. Dalili ya mvua ni matope

 *(6)Former governor Malombe*

The Ithiiani born urban planning Dr was present. He initially received standing ovation from members present. Though his public speaking antecedotes needs serious polishing, he wasted a valuable opportunity to hit, the sitting governor. In his characteristics version, he reffered to his competitors as... Hao wengine... You will need to note, if he changes his adaptation to advice and public speaking, he can pull a suprise. Some Ndee areas are missing him, courtesy of my Ndee trusted political moles. He might need, political number marking....

*(7)Hon Charles Nguna, mp Mwingi west(CNN) and Hon Malili mp Mwingi North*

Hon CNN is unhappy with Hon Kuvasila frequent sojourns in Kitui West. He was daring, glaring and rough, he was spoilt for political war.... Kwenze Kwenze, tighten your belts, it's gonna be messy, and rough going forward... In mwingi west. Hon malili is just enjoying being Kamba 2022 president mp, he is sipping his John mutembei pole pole....

 *Way forward*

⛔To governor Ngilu, i understand you are a seasoned political player, the war bells are on, towards your doorstep, do you still maintain,u must do political kcpe with kivutha and Mutua? If yes, jipange Sawa Sawa Munene......

⛔ *To wiper....*
Who is your Kitui County governor 2022 candidate? This might your secret card, but, note somewhere that you The sitting governor is a seasoned, cunning and suave political player, actually you might find her among the guests in *Koma 2 Kamba meeting* make no mistake. It's gonna be rough going forward politically......

Firebrand Kitui Sen Kiio Puts Looters Of Public Funds On Notice

BY OPIONION EDITOR

I am disturbed, in fact distressed, by the level of theft of public resources in the County Government of Kitui. We must confront this theft with everything we have but without malice. Where on earth would anyone pay Sh3.9m to transfer filing cabinets from one office to another? Those telling me to shut up are asking for too much from me. Sitakimya!! And I do not want ANYONE to tell me how to do my job. I have read and perfectly understood my constitutional role as the elected Senator of Kitui County.

Former maid disrupts Mutha MCA's meeting demanding child maintainance fee*

By COUNTY PRESS

KITUIMutha MCA Antony John on Saturday faced the humiliation of his wife when a woman he impregnated while still married disrupted his rally at Mutha market.

The girl who worked at Antony's home in Kitui as a maid stormed the meeting holding the baby sired by the MCA and screaming at the top of her voice.
The woman told the gathering that the Mheshmiwa had abandoned her immediately she gave birth and had refused to take care of the child.

She was in the company of the girl's mother who demanded citizen arrest of the randy MCA.

"Uuwii niwe uu, Ni Tony waitavisye mwiitu wakwa, uuuwiiiii" the elderly mother cried as Tony dropped the microphone in shock.
The crowd immediately got interested in the girl and her child with others walking away as the illegal meeting ended in disarray.

"Eva Eva? Mwanosu nake ekie maid ou Niki" questioned one resident as Tony attempted to flee.

He was immediately barred from boarding his vehicle and told to address the matter.
The former maid who is living in abject poverty and neglect said all she wanted was to have MCA Tony take care of the child.

"Hata anaweza kwenda nayeye kwa bibi yake, nimechoka aki" the girl cried.
It was immediately decided by a Kikao cha Wazee that Tony and the girl should meet at Mutomo police station on Monday and agree on the way forward.

The girl's mother said she will also report the matter to Fida so that the MCA can be compelled to take care of his wild seeds.
"Namunengie mwana wakwa atwae sukulu na athi kumutusya. Ndyitikila uuuwiiii" the woman cried some more

The girl told County Diary that while she worked as maid at Tony's home, he would force her to unprotected sex once his wife left for her job.

"Nyie mwa angatwaa na vinya namuetee kyai, aimbia nimuyo muno kuvita muka" the girl said shyly.

Fear God Or Perish Sen Kiio Tells Ngilu In An Open Letter

OPEN LETTER TO H.E. GOVERNOR CHARITY KALUKI
NGILU.

Transcript by PATRICK KIMANZI

Greetings Madam Governor. I am writing this open letter to you, hoping that you will find time and reason to not only read it, but act on it.
Madam Governor, the people of Kitui County have a right to reap the benefits of good leadership. That is why they elected their leaders, you included, on August 8, 2017.
And they expect that this leadership will be exercised at every level of representation.
Madam Governor, I plead with you to come alive to the fact that you are not the only elected leader in Kitui County. In the eyes of some people, the position of governor may not even be the most important elective office. Its importance notwithstanding, your office is simply but respectfully one of the many offices to which sons and daughters of Kitui have been elected
by the people of Kitui.
Madam Governor, you must respect other leaders if you expect them to respect you. You must fear God and desist from oozing lies about other leaders in church.
Madam Governor, by disrespecting God, the Bishops of AIC Kenya, pastors and the faithful in the manner that you did on Sunday December 6th, 2019 at AIC Kasina, you risk attracting God's wrath on our county. For an act like this, leaders who truly fear God would dress in
sackcloth as they fast and pray seeking forgiveness. I will stand in the gap for you and pray that God will forgive you and not visit His wrath on our county.
But Madam Governor, you must know that this year will be a completely different year in regard to the management and scrutiny of resources belonging to the people of Kitui County.
You can continue paying your supporters to heckle, insult or even rough up leaders who
disagree with you because that is probably the only brand of politics you understand. It may be difficult to even try to teach you new and progressive leadership skills of consultation and consensus in the management of public affairs in the new age. But the people of Kitui shall
not be the ones to pay the price for your inability and/or unwillingness to pursue good governance.
The theft of public resources by top officials in your government must stop and
the culprits must take full responsibility for economic crimes.
Madam Governor, you must take full political responsibility for presiding over arguably one of the most corrupt county governments in Kenya. All elected leaders, the church, the business community, professionals and the good people of Kitui will demand transparent use
This letter is written in good faith, without malice or prejudice. This letter is written in the best interest of the people of Kitui County who elected me to represent them in the Senate and to oversight your government.

30M For Mwingi North Bursaries As MP Earmarks Needy Students

BY PATRICK KIMANZI

MWINGI After carrying an exercise of fact finding on the vulnerability of the students who scored 300 marks and above, I, as the member of parliament for Mwingi North, in consultation with my committee of the NG-CDF, have decided the following:-

1. Almost all the students who scored those marks are needy except about 30 cases. After a bit of filtering a total of 527 students have been found particularly needy and deserve to be supported to join form 1 in 2019. Out of this 133 are either orphaned or single parented or half orphaned.
2. All the 133 special group category will each get 11,000 and the remaining 394 will get 9500 each. The parents and the guardians are expected to augment the bursary so that the students can have a smooth stay in the various schools. This will be a total of 5,206,000 that will be deducted from the 30,000,000 that I had earmarked for bursaries for 2018/2019 leaving approximately 25,000,000 that will be shared through a public participation exercise as we did last year.
3. That these beneficiaries will not be discriminated during the public participation and are eligible for further bursary award as this is considered as a token of appreciation for the efforts they made in the class 8 examinations. As a matter of fact this is a gift from myself to tell them kudos for their work well done.
4. Because we have not received any disbursement from the treasury for 2018/2019, the cheques will not be ready in the immediate and even if we had the money the process of writing the cheques would take time. I that case I have written letters of commitment to the various institutions which can be collected from my constituency office in Kyuso.

For the other possible beneficiaries that will be determined by the public participation I have written letters to all principals in Mwingi North and other neighboring secondary schools to exercise patience till we distribute the bursary funds

Kindly pass on this information to all the concerned parents and students

Hon. Eng Paul M Nzengu (Malili)
